With winter comes warm moments with family and beautiful snowscapes outside our windowpanes. Unfortunately, winter also brings snapping tree limbs, black ice on roadways and a higher than average likelihood of fires in homes.

What should you do?

1. As temperatures drop, be sure to have your local tree service contractor perform a preventative maintenance inspection on your property and remove any dead limbs that may cause harm this season.

2. Make sure that the tires on your vehicle are properly inflated and show adequate tread depth. Most auto mechanics will check this free of charge.

3. Finally, make sure that you keep all flamable materials away from space heaters and fireplaces as you heat your home in this chilly time of year.
